These kinds of things drive me crazy Darrell. We have this Jewish writer asserting that all intelligence agencies across the world are confident that Iran is working for a nuclear weapon capability. Yet, according to this - http://www.dni.gov/press_releases/20071203_release.pdf - our own Intelligence is not anywhere near confident that that is the case. So, to whom do I place my trust?

Chris,

My guess is that they are all lying. The American elite has decided that going to war in Iran isn't going to happen. Effectively the grownups have put the kibosh on the best laid plans of "W" and the Dickster. Our interests in Iraq demand cooperation with Iran, and of course the paying off of Iranian allies in Iraq.

However, there are still competing elements within the cultural and political elite that want war with Iran. Those elements are largely Jewish, both on the right and left but most prominent among them are the neocons. Hence the plants within the media which are almost surely put in place by Israeli intelligence.

I think it is reasonable to want to prevent the spreading of nukes. But I also tend to believe that I'm not particularly threatened by Iranian nuclear weapons. In fact, they have many rational concerns that would drive them in that direction.
