On Hiatus

I haven't been doing much blogging lately. Things are busy here, but more importantly, I just don't have any particular motivation. After a little more than a year of occasionally jotting down thoughts, I'm not sure whether this enterprise is a judicious use of my time any longer. We'll see. I'm going on vacation this week, so maybe I'll feel better after that.

Well, hiatuses (is that the correct plural?) aside, your blogging has probably been more regular and frequent than mine. Right now, when I'm spending time in the Blogosphere, I am supposed to be finishing up some overdue coursework (a situation that's happened more than one time, unfortunately...). Have a great time on your vacation, and don't worry about not being able to blog... You've been doing great!

Darrell,

We all experience burnout from time to time. A period when motivation and ideas ebb. But you have a very valued contribution here in the fight for national sanity. I hope you'll return with recharged batteries as soon as you feel able. P.S. going to press on KR within the week. Thanks for your patience on the subscription.

Yours,
Mark

I second what Mark wrote. It's a blogging rite of passage to question whether this endeavor is worth your time, especially when you have a family and job. I'm sure the Lord will give you wisdom. In any case, thanks for your meaty contributions. I hope you turn to writing columns, somewhere, if you don't continue being a regular blogger.
